Separating the crankcase on a continental A-65 engine (Update #009)

This is a video of me separating the Crankcase on my Continental A-65 engine that goes on my 1946 J-3 Piper Cub. The engine last ran while on the plane in the spring of 2017. The engine hasn’t been broken down like in at least 50 years I know. My grandfather bought the plane in 1968. All he’s ever done to it is change the mags and installed new rings. These little engines are bullet proof.
