why NES tetris can't do basic arithmetic

back at it again with another video basically: tetris does math funny in order to fit the numbers into a data format that makes it easy to come up with the base 10 representation. there are some bugs in the math which result in losing 6 points when the result crosses a multiple of 10 by more than 6, and losing anything in the ones digit when crossing a multiple of 100. spreadsheet for your perusal: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
