Proximal Hamstring Tendinopathy (why aren't you getting better?)

Proximal hamstring tendinopathy (PHT) can be very difficult to get rid of! If left untreated it's not uncommon for this injury to lead to other hip related injuries. One tricky injury that PHT can turn into is ischiofemoral impingement syndrome. It is very easy to confuse these two injuries because they have so many similarities! If you have tried everything to get rid of your PHT symptoms and feel like you just aren't making progress, one thing you may want to rule out is ischiofemoral impingement syndrome.
