Histoire incroyable avec le Rabbi sur les respect des parents

This week, I heard an absolutely moving story about Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe. After leaving Russia and living in France, the Rebbe settled in the United States with his mother following his father's death. Despite immense responsibilities and a hectic schedule, he had a sacred ritual: once a week, he dedicated an entire hour exclusively to his mother. A student noticed a strange detail: on each visit, the Rebbe would straighten the chairs and the picture frame before leaving. Even when everything was perfectly aligned beforehand, he would do it again. It wasn't meticulousness... but an unimaginable lesson in respect. His mother then revealed the truth: the Rebbe never turned his back on her. To continue leaving facing her without making her uncomfortable, he would find an excuse: tidying the room. A story that reminds us how far the mitzvah of Kiboud Av VaEm can go: respect, kindness, and gratitude, even in the smallest gestures. 👉 Let's take a moment to reflect: How do we speak to our parents? How do we look at them? How do we say goodbye to them? May we have the merit to honor our parents with love, respect, and sensitivity, and may this merit protect us and our families until the coming of the Messiah, Blessed be He. Have a good week everyone, and may the merit of the Rebbe be with us. #KiboudAvVaEm #RespectForParents #TheRebbe #JewishStory #Moussar #TorahOfLife #JewishValues #Emunah #Messiah Join us on social media!
