A Rare Attitude In Surfing - Nathalya Cabral | Beached #24

Sharing your thoughts and activities on social media is widespread, standard behaviour. Actual sharing in the real world - much less common, and sharing when it comes to waves is just plain rare. So when you see someone invite another random surfer to join her on a wave 3:11 it stands out. Nathalya's attitude to sharing waves is a rare thing unfortunately, but with the number of people that crowd the lineup at Batu Bolong, it's a practical approach that would make the whole experience more enjoyable for everyone if they could follow suit. Born in Brazil, Nathalya moved to Australia when she was twelve years old and lived on the Gold Coast for most of that time. She's now twenty two years old has been living in Bali for around three years.
