He might still be one of the most famous chefs in the world, or at least one of the most famous Japanese chefs! Many people know about the iconic Morimoto vs Bobby Flay showdowns of the early 2000s, which also helped to put Bobby Flay on the map! Morimoto has since opened many restaurants, but the flagship of all Morimoto restaurants is the one fittingly named after him! Morimoto in Philadelphia. Morimoto in Philly has long been regarded as the best Japanese restaurant in Philadelphia. To be honest though, I would go so far as to call it one of the best Japanese restaurants in America! It has many of the Chef Morimoto recipes, notably many of his Morimoto iron chef recipes like the Morimoto wagyu dumplings recipe, the Morimoto tuna pizza recipe, the Morimoto chicken ramen recipe, and the Morimoto miso cod recipe.
