Unboxing and Review of the Nakaya Bamboo Woods (long cigar 17mm) fountain pen (4K)

This Nakaya urushi fountain pen was made in 2021 as a custom order, taking the Bamboo Woods design and placing it on a Long Cigar shape pen with the extra-large 17mm diameter. This Japanese ebonite fountain pen shows bamboo stems on the barrel with bamboo leaves on the cap, and a collection of fallen leaves at the end of the barrel. The design is created using tame-sukashi technique, layering semi-translucent brown urushi over the design painted in silver, and will become more translucent over time. The pen has a 14k gold Nakaya soft medium nib.
