Late in 2014, I logged onto TheHaloForum with a clear mission: challenge myself, sharpen my skills, and attempt to truly become a video editor. Heavily inspired by the legendary B2P by GTS, I put out a request for a Halo 2 1v1 project to see if I could recreate that same high-level energy with my own personal style. Proty jumped at the opportunity, and we immediately got to work. Unfortunately, life had other plans. Shortly after starting, I landed a long-sought-after opportunity to work at a boxing facility. It was a role I couldn't pass up, but it meant production on IGNITE ground to a halt. While I fully intended to finish it, months passed with virtually no progress. Understandably, Proty needed to move on. I was preoccupied with major shifts in my personal life, and I felt a deep regret for not being able to deliver the project on time. The unfinished render sat on my hard drive from 2015 all the way until mid-2021—a nearly six-year hiatus. Realizing I might never finish the grand vision I originally had, I decided to put the final touches on what existed, including the final cross-map pistol clip and a spectacular custom graphic hand-drawn by Aldo Reyes. The Creative Vision Originally, IGNITE was meant to be a much larger, multi-track epic, featuring a second section set to "Lucid Truth" by Blackmill. While that full vision never came to light, the version that survived is something I am incredibly proud of. Set to a track straight out of Breaking Bad, the video carries a distinct, atmospheric vibe. Beneath the surface, it features subtle subliminal clues designed for players looking to master the Halo 2 1v1 arena. While it may not be my most complex edit structurally, a massive amount of time and thought went into crafting its unique theme, concept, and final presentation. The FMA Exclusive Remaster Originally uploaded in mid-2021 to my legacy YouTube channel, BIZZY001, the reception from the community was overwhelmingly positive. Now, as part of a dedicated effort to archive and elevate my past work, I am re-releasing IGNITE as an exclusive. For this release, the project has been fully enhanced. I have completely remastered the audio and passed the original video through Topaz AI to sharpen the visuals and boost the overall quality. It is a bittersweet look back at a time when I was finding my footing, but it stands as a testament to my love for the Halo montage community.
