P0678 Ford Superduty 6.0 Diesel Powerstroke Glow Plug Repair & Replacement

Ford Excursion with a 6.0 diesel had two codes pop up P0678 cylinder 8 glow plug open circuit and P0672 cylinder 2 glow plug open circuit. I ended up ohming out all 8 glow plugs and found cylinder 8 was at 2.1 ohms while all the other cylinders were at .7 to .8 ohms. Replaced cylinder 8 glow plug erased dtc codes and codes never came back seemed to fix the issue.
