Pen Y Fan horseshoe ridge walk starting at Neuadd 9.3 miles Brecon Beacons
Situated in the Brecon Beacons, Pen Y Fan; which translates to "top of this place" in English, is the highest mountain in southern Britain. There are several ways on how to do the ridge walk. We chose our start/ end point at Neuadd car park and did a clockwise route. The ridgeline which is the shape of a horseshoe made us climb 4 individual peaks: Corn Du, Pen Y Fan, Cribyn and Fan Y Big. Decent effort for a day's work!
