She's fishing for dirt on the mayor's advisor, Javier Alvarado. Says Alvarado is bezzling[sic✍️] public money, padding the Valentinos' pockets. Proof? Apparently found in the office of El Pinche Pollo, some Valentino-run restaurant. Have a look there. This media seemed confident of her sources. And you know how this rolls. She fronts the eddies, we don't ask who she "writes" for. Gig: On a Tight Leash A few weeks ago a police officer was shot dead. Same old story - some Valentino kids got into a scrap with the badges. The fatal piece of lead was shot by a ganger named José Luis. The investigation was dropped and officers from the local precinct were told to back off. Pretty interesting turn of events, wouldn't you say? José must have some friends in high places. Here's the deal - one of the officers wants José to be brought to justice, which is where you come in. Gig: Life's Work Why is it some unwritten law of the world that every talented techie has shit-poor character? Only God knows. Jake Estevez is one such genius among techies and an asshole among shitheads. Fifteen minutes with the man and my barrel against his forehead, but good news is we found a way to get along. Yeah, well he pissed off the wrong pendejos in 6SG and had to delta and never look back. Bottom line: Jake wants his precious car back. Go the 6SG autoshop, upload the virus I sent you and get it back for him - don't scratch the ride and you'll get extra. We'll both be flush after this.
