Single-Phase Full-Bridge Inverter with RL Load ⚡ Power Electronics 💡 Calculations & MATLAB/Simulink

In this video, we will discuss a single-phase full-bridge inverter with a series resistive-inductive (RL) load. An inverter will convert the input DC voltage into an AC voltage across the load. In this example, the four switches of the inverter are assumes to be ideal and controlled by 50% duty cycle PWM signal. We will discuss the effect of the inductance in a load and how the THD of the load current is effected by it presence. We will determine the expression for the load current and calculate the RMS load current, RMS load voltage, average source current, absorbed power, THD for the load voltage, and THD for the load current. We will work out the calculations step by step and verify our calculations using simulations in MATLAB/Simulink. #MATLAB #simulink 👉 More Power Electronics playlist:    • Power Electronics   📚 Resources 👇 [1] Power Electronics, Daniel Hart 👉For more Power Electronics videos:    • Power Electronics   ⭐ If you have questions or comments, please let me know.
