STARS and STORMS into DULLES! Piper Meridian CDW to IAD, SR-71 tour, and EM at BIRCHMERE. LIFL Ep26

In and out of Dulles Airport in Virginia in the Meridian for an Eaglemania show at the Birchmere Theater in Arlington, VA. On the way down, I use the radar to corroborate what I was seeing on Nexrad and go over the differences in scaling between onboard radar and Nexrad. STARs assigned into Dulles as well as on the return flight to Caldwell, NJ were a good opportunity to go over that as well. The highlight of the trip was a private tour of the National Air and Space Museum Udvar HAzy Annex by Phil Soucy, owner of an M600, a fan of the channel, and who I met at an Eaglemania show. Not only did we get a tour of the Annex, but got a lesson on the SR-71 by Phil, who ACTUALLY FLEW the very one on display at the museum. Incredible.
