Everything to Know About Scale and Proportion with Alexa Hampton I Design School I HB
Does Alexa Hampton wish everyone could be trained in classical design? Of course, she does. While she recognizes that it isn't required learning, Hampton credits much of her own knowledge and love for scale to her formative years spent learning about the art and history of classical design. For Hampton, scale is enormously important in deciding the energy and flow of a room and thus is also critical for how welcoming and comfortable a space it may be. Whether a room has Corinthian columns or not, the extent to which it is beautiful and balanced all goes back to the foundational lessons of working with scale. #DesignSchool #AlexaHampton #Scale Subscribe to House Beautiful http://bit.ly/SUBSCRIBEtoHOUSEBEAUTIFUL
