Is Derwent Dam Going Over The Top? Ladybower Reservoir Exciting Update It's been around 10 Months since Derwent Dam was overspilling and helping to fill Ladybower Reservoir. Late Novemeber 2022 she is tantilisingly close to doing just that, so what will my visit on December 1st bring? On a dull and misty afternoon, i begin by looking for any remnents of the valve house, opposite the former Derwent Village. Next up we jump across to the village side, to see if the reservoir has filled up so much since our last visit 5 weeks ago that it may have covered the entire remains of Derwent Village!
