Fly Tying: A Mulberry Fly with Martyn White

!! FISHING TIP AT THE END OF THE VIDEO !! One of the things I most look forward to in summer is mulberry time, because I like eating them and so do the carp. Over the years I've tried various different imitations from foam you egg yarn and chenille but I always come back to the deer hair version it's far and away the best producer of fish. It can take a while for the fish to switch on to the mulberry when the first start falling in the river, but once they do key in to them there's great fishing to be had and they'll continue to respond to a mulberry pattern a few weeks after the real berries have finished.
