I reacted to my three years of piano progress after getting a teacher... Here are the results.
After contemplating whether I should continue studying the violin or pick the piano back up, after more than an eight-year break, I decided to take up lessons once again and study the piano. And I mean, STUDY the piano. This was easily one of the best decisions of my life. Thankfully, practicing on the piano doesn't feel like a chore, and whenever I get free time, there's nothing I enjoy more than improving my craft. These past three years have been quite the ride. I have documented almost all of my growth over these years. And I hope that by sharing this with you, I can maybe inspire you to pursue your passion. This is meant to be more of a @TiffanyPoonpianist kind of style video. Her willingness to share the growth that she has made over the years is certainly inspiring for me. I hope that I can provide that same openness and create newer content based on my development as a pianist. No one goes down the same path. Some of us follow traditional teaching methods, and some of us go rogue with guidance from our teachers. And of course everything in between. Becoming a musician is like going on a journey. You have to enjoy the progress that you make along the way to truly reap the rewards in a gratifying fashion. And I hope that gratification will never end for me :) Social Media: Instagram - / pgwpiano
