Trapping AXOLOTLS in GATOR INFESTED Water

Today my friend ‪@BassFishingProductions‬ and I went to a crystal clear creek in the Florida everglades in search for wild axolotls. We brought a brand new fish trap with us specifically designed to catch an axolotl. After we placed the trap we went up and down the creek looking for exotic fish. We found lots of mollies, flag fish and even caught two gourami. We found a baby gator friend on our search for fish too. When we went back to the trap we realized that it was floating which isn't the ideal place for the trap to be in order to catch an axolotl. We noticed a fish hitting the roof of the trap which was a gourami trying to get air. We caught him just in time to save him and looked in the trap but there was no axolotl. We decided to come back the next day and make changes to the trap so that we could safely catch both gourami and axolotl. The next day we came back, placed the trap and went to help bobby with some of his things while we let the trap sit. When we came back we took a look down the creek and found one more gourami right in front of the trap. This time when we lifted the trap there was a really small axolotl waiting for us. There was also a small gourami an a massive gourami in the trap which was the same size as the axolotl. The new trap worked, we were able to safely and successfully trap gourami and axolotl. The next day when i set up a 15 gallon tank in my room the tank sprung a leak and drenched my floor forcing me to to buy the axolotl a new home.
