Come, Holy Spirit!

My prayer is often this: Come Holy Spirit! We wait for you! Without Your power, we can't do anything for to bring the kingdom of God to this broken and wounded world! Without YOUR POWER we will lose the battle against sin and deviltry! Therefor we desperately need your power, Jesus! In Luke 24.49 Jesus asked his disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they had been endued with power from on high. They would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon them, so they could, in a powerfull way, be witnesses for Jesus. First in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1.8). We who are Jesus disciples today, also need this power - the power of the Holy Spirit!
