Unfortunately, 747-300 did not provide enough substantial upgrades over the preceding 747-200 to warrant its increased price, and thus with the -200 still being built alongside it and the -400 officially announced in 1985, the -300 fell into a hole in the market with no significant interest for its few advancements over the earlier variants, and today is barely remembered amid its other more noted stablemates All video content and images in this production have been provided with permission wherever possible.
