Everybody type has its own advantages and disadvantages. You can transform your body type through proper diet and exercise. There are three types of body: ectomorph, mesomorph, and endomorph. Ectomorph Body Type Ectomorphs find it hard to gain weight. They have thin and long limbs with a very fast metabolism. Ectomorphs mostly target to gain weight. It is recommended for them to have a balanced diet and exercise. Strength training and compound exercises like lunges and squats help them gain muscle. They should avoid cardiovascular exercises. Ectomorphs should increase their carbohydrate intake. Their diet should contain 50% carbs, 30% proteins, and 20% fats. If you set a proper diet and exercise routine, you can gain muscles easily in three months. Mesomorph Mesomorphs have a naturally muscular built. They can tone their body up really well with proper diet and exercise. Mesomorphs should choose a combination of strength training, endurance exercises, and hypertrophy. They should do moderate-intensity exercise 2 days a week and high-intensity workout on 3 days. Mesomorphs should not focus on one kind of exercise only as it can lead to muscle loss. They should take in 35% carbs, 35% proteins, and 30% fats through their diet. Increase your carb intake on the days of high-intensity workout. Endomorph Endomorphs have a high tendency to gain weight and have bulky bodies. They have a slow metabolism and should do strength training for at least 3-4 days of the week. It is recommended to take rest for one day. They can also do high-intensity workouts for one day. Keto diet does wonders for endomorphs as they face insulin resistance. 20% carbs, 30-40% proteins, and remaining fats should be included in their diet. Can my body type change over time?
