The Macan is a key model for Porsche – even in the electric age. In the new generation, Porsche is consistently focusing on battery power: no hybrid, no combustion engine, just a clean break. The Macan 4S marks the sporty entry point – with up to 516 hp, all-wheel drive, and high charging capacity. In everyday use, the Macan impresses with its clear design language, high-quality materials, and intuitive controls. Inside, leather, real wood, and a modern yet functional display structure dominate. The seating position is deliberately sporty, and the front offers generous space. Rear passenger space, however, is limited – it's cramped for adults on longer journeys. The trunk capacity is a respectable 540 liters, but this is reduced if a sound system is installed under the load floor. Conveniently, a frunk and an electric trailer hitch are available as standard equipment. In terms of driving dynamics, the Macan 4S is a true Porsche. The optional air suspension works precisely, and the rear-axle steering noticeably improves maneuverability. Acceleration is powerful, and comfort is high. Those who frequently drive fast will reach the limits more quickly. Charging is possible at up to 270 kW. In practice, charging from 10 to 80 percent takes around 21 minutes – provided the battery has been pre-conditioned. AC charging is possible at 11 kW, and a full charge takes about ten hours. The Macan 4S starts at €90,700. The test vehicle came to €130,713 – including extensive optional extras. This positions the electric SUV in the upper segment. The value?
