Without much fanfare, Bitwig released a small new device called an all-pass filter for the Grid. In a nutshell, this allows us to emulate the frequency splitting behavior of nonlinear multi band devices like Vitamin, Pro-C, Saturn or kHz Disperser. The key difference is that we can now apply it on a per voice, and on (almost) oscillator level.This allows us to avoid post ringing, i.e. overlapping bass notes without effort.
