Kairalasta Kemijärvelle, 60km melontavaellus Itä-Lapin perinnemaisemissa SUBTITLES

Commercial cooperation Eastern Lapland Joint Municipal Authority In July I set out to explore the landscapes of Eastern Lapland. We set off from the village of Kairala, Pelkosenniemi, to kayak towards Kemijärvi. The journey to Kemijärvi was about 60 kilometers, first from Kiti, then along the Kemijoki River. The route included a lot of history from the large rafts of the Kemijoki River and old, fine buildings that had survived the war. The canoeing trip was part of Eastern Lapland's Last Arctic Frontier project, which is exploring cycling and canoeing routes along Eastern Lapland.
