This season takes you on a 10-stage e-bike tour across the Alps from Munich to Venice 🚴🏻 The Munich-Venice Cycle Path is one of the most popular cycling routes in Europe, stretching approximately 600 kilometers through breathtaking landscapes, along rivers and lakes, and through picturesque villages and historic cities. The route, modified by me "by BikeMike," begins in Munich and leads first through the Isar Valley to Tyrol, where the landscape changes and the majestic Alps come into view. In Austria, the route follows Leutasch and the majestic Inn River, offering stunning mountain vistas. Even after crossing the border into Italy, there's plenty of variety, from the peaks of the Dolomites and fascinating old castles to the unique Prosecco region in the heart of Veneto and the grand finale in the lagoon city of Venice! The ninth stage begins in the heart of the wonderful Prosecco region and takes us to the northern Italian plains. But before we reach them, we visit the imposing 14th-century Castello San Salvadore on the last hill, which stands guard over the landscape like a sentinel. After crossing the Piave River, we cycle through the Venetian sweltering heat. Temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius leave no room for cooling and force us to stop for frequent water breaks. A truly unique experience, but that's precisely what makes this cycling trip so special. Following miles of irrigation canals, we reach our destination for the day, Treviso, where we soak up the quintessential Italian atmosphere! Overall, the Munich-Venice Cycle Route is a wonderful way to explore one of Europe's most beautiful regions while enjoying a good workout.
