Budapest Metro / Budapesti metró - Lines M2 and M3

We visited Budapest in 2016 and travelled on each of the metro lines. It is second oldest metro system in the world after London and part of it - Line M1 - has been part of the city's World Heritage Site since 2002: https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/400 Line M1 was constructed between 1893-6. The first part of Line M2 opened in 1970 and the first part of Line M3 opened in 1976. The city's newest line, M4, opened in 2014. Whilst some of the original Metrovagonmash trains are still in service, a number of modern Alstom trainsets are now running on the system.
