Triumph TR4 Gearbox Install: Tackling the Tough Part

The mission: Install the newly finished gearbox in our 1964 Triumph TR4. This is our least favorite part of the restoration process and feels like trying to tame a mechanical beast. Wrestling this hefty component into position, both inside and beneath the car, requires equal parts strength and finesse. It's a grueling task that we hope to never have to repeat! We have been fixing a leaking transmission seal, something we have been putting off for a long time. In the next few episodes, we will be going though the entire process of removing the gearbox from the Triumph TR4, investigating what went wrong, and fixing the problem for good.
