Raise the Titanic (1980) directed by Jerry Jameson is a dated piece of fiction based on the novel by Clive Cussler. Stars Richard Jordan, Jason Robards and Anne Archer play second fiddle to the impressive special effects, although Sir Alec Guinness shines in his cameo as a survivor of the original disaster.
