Fiat 500 ELETTRICA: VALE LA PENA? AUTONOMIA, RICARICA e PROVA COMPLETA

The new 500 Electric was tested on the road, highway, city streets, and in charging tests. Today's protagonist is the 500 Electric sedan, 500 ICON trim with a 42 kWh battery and a 118 hp / 87 kW peak (43 kW continuous) engine. Fiat's electric city car debuts with a new look and creates a new series within the range, appearing more aggressive and more powerful than the hybrid and gasoline versions. The new 500 Electric can be charged in AC at 11 kW with a three-phase cable or in DC at up to 85 kW for the most powerful version (charging time of 35 minutes to 80%), 50 kW for the base model. The claimed range is 320 kilometers in the WLTP combined cycle, but FCA promises 400 km in the city thanks to energy recovery. The technological features are extensive, ranging from digital instrumentation to infotainment up to 10.25" (8" is standard) with Android Auto Wireless, Apple CarPlay Wireless, and Alexa integration via the hands-free button on the steering wheel. The integrated SIM card allows you to connect to the smartphone app to control the car, receive notifications on the charge status, and activate pre-conditioning. The ADAS are Level 2, including Adaptive Cruise Control and a system that keeps the car centered in its lane. A Traffic Jam system is missing. The real-world winter range is between 155 km on the highway and 240 km on extra-urban roads. Charging performance is good even in the coldest temperatures thanks to the battery's thermal management system. The 500 Action has a list price of €26,150 and is available with Ecobonus and scrappage incentives starting from €15,900. The 500 Icon, the version shown in the video and the subject of this review, has a list price of €31,400 and is available from €20,900 with scrappage incentives.
