Area of Polygonal Region | Class 8th Maths |

A polygon is a two-dimensional figure which has three or more sides that intersect at the endpoint. Triangles, quadrilaterals, hexagon, pentagon all are examples of polygons. The sides of a polygon must be straight. If it’s a curve it won’t be considered as a polygon. In a polygon, your start point is your endpoint. A polygonal region is a polygon and its interiors. The area of a polygonal region is the sum of the areas of all its nonoverlapping parts. Confused? Let’s learn more about polygonal regions in this video.
