Onderweg voor Houweling word ik staande gehouden door de ILT! 🚨

Today, Houweling Group has another great trip on the schedule, and naturally, I’m taking you along again! While we have to work hard, I’ll take you behind the scenes of the transport, loading and unloading, and everything happening in between, all while vlogging. In collaboration with the RDW, I will also explain along the way exactly what the toll box is for, with a view to the truck toll being introduced from July 1st. Furthermore, we take a look at the recycling process at Houweling, where the shredder is running at full speed and old plastic is being processed into new granules. In Oudkarspel, we unload a heavy load of big bags and see how all kinds of bottles are eventually made from that granulate. As if the day wasn't interesting enough already, I was also stopped on the way by the ILT for a thorough check of my paperwork, tachograph, and driving and rest times… quite nerve-wracking, of course.
