Woodford School Lusaka Christmas Carol Service 2024

The Woodford School Lusaka community gathered on 27 November 2024 for an enchanting afternoon at this year’s Christmas Carol Service, themed “Christmas: The Gift That Keeps on Giving.” This event embodied the true spirit of Christmas, showcasing our students' exceptional talents and their teachers' dedication. The festivities unfolded with Christmas carols and student performances from Reception to Grade 6. Each act celebrated music, dance, and joy, with highlights including “Santa Tell Me” by Grade 5 Green, which brought an energetic start to the lineup; a delightful rendition of “Joy Overflow” by Reception 1 and 2, spreading youthful cheer; and the Zambian Christmas Song by Grade 4 Blue, which infused a local flavour into the festive atmosphere. One of the most anticipated moments was the musical play presented by a select group of students. This performance artfully combined music, drama, and storytelling, leaving the audience in awe of the depth of talent among our learners. The carol service concluded with the grand debut of the Woodford School Song, sung communally by students, staff, and parents. This special moment united the school community in a shared spirit of pride and harmony. As we reflect on this joyous occasion, we are reminded of the timeless truth that Christmas is indeed “The Gift That Keeps on Giving.”
