The Man Teaching Texas to Fish at Sea Rim State Park | Texas Country Reporter

Tucked away at the far southeastern edge of Texas, Sea Rim State Park is one of the most overlooked parks on the Texas coast. With more than five miles of Gulf shoreline and thousands of acres of marshland, it offers solitude, wildlife, and some of the best fishing and crabbing in the state. For local volunteer Donnie Crane, Sea Rim is more than just a place to cast a line. After fishing all over the world, he returned home to Sabine Pass to teach families, kids, and first-time visitors how to fish and crab for themselves. Through hands-on classes and a deep love for the coast, Donnie is helping new generations discover a park that feels wild, quiet, and entirely their own. Donny Crane & Maddy Martin 19335 S.
