Electromagnetic simulations allow engineers to evaluate such devices before producing physical prototypes, therefore reducing development costs and time. During this presentation, we will discuss how to model the electromagnetic performance of PCBs from kHz up to GHz frequencies. We will demonstrate how to model PCB coils in the kHz range as well as how to model an RF device in the GHz range using the COMSOL Multiphysics® simulation software.
