US F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet fires on Iranian tanker that tried to break Strait of Hormuz blockade. The US military fired on and disabled an Iranian-flagged tanker that tried to break the naval blockade around the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, officials said.
