Over 300,000 Turkana residents urged to evacuate as Turkwell dam fills up

The government is asking more than 300,000 families living around the Turkwel dam to move to higher grounds. This comes as the Turkwel dam continues to fill up at an alarming rate; water resource officials foresee the spillage of the dam as early as next week.
