God is working in you and through you (part 2) - Bishop Mosa Sono
Bishop Mosa Sono Word of God: God is working in you and through you - Philippians 2:12-13 The Bible didn’t say that we should work for our salvation but rather work out our salvation. Salvation is a whole comprehensive word and after we have received Christ we need to take responsibility for our lives to grow into full maturity of our lives. We are here on this earth on borrowed time and we have a mission to accomplish. We want to identify how God has shaped us so that we find out purpose. All experiences are there to help equip us. We need to know what our S.H.A.P.E is. When God created us He created us with gifts and talents. Ephesians 2:10 Before you came into this world there were good works prepared for you to fulfill. God molded and put inside of you everything that you need to fulfill your assignment. No matter how small your assignment may be but your assignment is needed. We are God’s masterpiece, your assignment was set long ago. You are one in a million, there is no one like you so you can’t live a mediocre life. Jeremiah 1-4 God approved of you Romans 11:36 These gifts came by God’s grace and when you operate in your gift the grace of God will be upon your life. When you operate in your gift you will succeed where others are failing. Everything in life you can do it again but when it comes to your life there is no second take. What triggers your gift and your passion is when you meet someone who is in line with your passion. If you don’t know where you belong then serve wherever, there is a place where you serve in it your baby will leap. Never yield to the tendency of saying things are so bad that nothing can change it. These works were planned for you long ago, predestined by God. You are not here by mistake. Your journey becomes a school that equips you for your purpose. Don’t go through life with no passion, you are God’s masterpiece. Don’t try to dissect your life, your life must be continual because who you are is hardwired into your DNA. The gift of leadership is the divine enablement by God to cast vision, motivate, and direct people to harmoniously accomplish the purpose of God or the organization Vision motivates people. Leaders make things work and make a plan. 1. The gift of administration - 1 Corinthians 12:28. Even though administration comes from God but it is needed everywhere. For a church to operate well is not just about good preaching but good administration/government. Administration means to pilot or steer. It speaks to directorship Acts 6:1 What is done in the church is hindered by poor administration. Exodus 18:14 Once what you are doing grows there are other people who need to come on board. The gift of administration is the divine enablement to help us understand how an organization functions. Traits of administrative people: 1. Develop strategies or plans to reach identified goals 2. The assist in organizations to be more effective 3. They create order in organizational chaos 4. Manage or coordinate a variety of responsibilities to accomplish a task Let’s operate at the high level that God has created us. Distinctive of people with the leadership gift: 1. Provide direction for God’s people or ministry or organization. 2. Motivates others to perform to the best of their abilities 3. Present the big picture for others to see. 4. Model the values of the ministry/organization 5. Take responsibility and establish goals You don’t need to use leadership as a position. Let your actions of leadership do the talking. May you never live a life that is beyond your purpose.
