Scientist Nicolò brings us the grossest experiment ever at the GBR science lab: we're opening up an owl's vomit to find out what's really inside! 🦉🔍 We tried a science kit dedicated to owl pellets, those small pellets that owls regurgitate after eating. It seems a little disgusting at first... but it's actually a super interesting experiment, because inside you can find hairs, small remains, and clues to understand what the owl ate, as well as its environment, which could provide important information about the environmental context. With tweezers, a magnifying glass, and regulation gloves, we conducted a true scientific investigation: we separated the material, searched for tiny bones, and tried to reconstruct the mystery hidden in the owl's vomit.
