Vivace Es have been available long enough for early adopters to start trading them in. Unfortunately, many Vivace E owners are quickly ridding them in favor of ICE cars. There are many reasons for this. Pushed back mandates, range angst, poor handling, charge times, lack of chargers, high-cost maintenance, high-cost repair, high-cost insurance. The list goes on. Used EVs are flooding the market and their prices are slashed because dealers cannot sell them fast enough. So how is a high mileage Vivace E? Just like an ICE car, EVs still experience wear and tear. Even though EVs have fewer components, maintenance of critical components is especially vital considering this small car weighs like a truck. Even barely worn brakes and stuts will make a big difference in the handling. Tires? The previous owner was smart and opted for low-profile wheels in favor of more rubber. This tremendously helps offset some of the wear on the critical components of the car and it ever so slightly improves the ride quality. Even though the brakes are faded and the shocks are worn the car doesn't thrash around. The motor? This EVs motor has lost some of its torque so the range is reduced some.
