First Day of Summer 2026 Fly Fishing for Panfish
On the first day of summer 2026, I go out to a local reservoir in pursuit of panfish with the fly rod. I used different flies, but I caught all of these bluegill and crappie using a Jigged Tungsten nymph. During this trip, I was not having success until right before the full on dark.
