Enjoy this long episode filled with tons of bad jokes, roasting each other, silly skits and many many laughs. My Best Friend Morgan joins me for the sail from Newport to Long Beach! We had such a good time. I wake up after staying on anchor overnight in Newport and immediately get the dinghy set up to go to one of the public dingy docks to pick up Morgan. I get so excited I accidentally crash the new dinghy into the dock! We take the pups potty and then head back to the boat! We quickly get ready to pull up the anchor and I teach her the hand signals and how to steer while I pull it up. The problem was the chain was SO muddy so it kept slipping in the windlass. We eventually get it up and head out of the harbor towards long beach. Once we get out of the harbor mouth we hoist up the sail. We caught amazing wind along the way. Morgan shares her least favorite memory on the boat, and her favorite memories on the boat. She also shares a joke and we have many laughs on our journey to long beach. We hit some patches of heavy wind and it was Morgans first time steering in those kind of gusts! She did awesome. After 4 hours we make it to long beach harbor and see tons of huge cargo ships, and. even a sailing competition! Then we drop the sail and find out where our dock is. There was no wind do pulling into the slip was easy, unfortunately our front GoPro battery died so we didn't get the front shot of us docking. I also forgot to snap down my cushions so when we were sailing they all fell and the boat was a mess when we got there. It was HOT especially after being in the wind and then having no wind it felt like 100 degrees in long beach.
