47 - Last Seat View

Before we even get started here, this video was taken back in October of 2017. This bus had started the school year of 17/18 fair, being 14 years old. She started to develop low power and would get stuck in gear at times. We tried everything from new wiring harnesses, engine parts, TCM replacement, etc.. but we never got anywhere. She continued to go downhill until she couldn't pull herself anymore. It'd run great for a few days then be right back in the shop. Before it got to the point of a loss, we pulled her from the routes. Did we ever find the problem, no. Just a weak diagnosis that even the dealer couldn't fix. In the past year and a half, she's been sold off for scrap and is dead. She was bus 47, a 2003 IC CE with the DT466E under the hood, mated to an Alison 2000 transmission.
