Part 5 of the Mixing Walkthrough series is different - there’s no talking, no interruptions. Just the screen session, as I make the final moves that bring the mix to its finished form. At this point in a mix, everything becomes subtle. These are the adjustments that don’t always show up in plugin names or EQ curves - they show up in feel, balance, and emotion. Final automation, small tonal shifts, a few volume rides… this is where a mix stops being a collection of sounds and starts becoming a record. If you’ve followed the full series, thank you.
