10-in-10 Series: Episode #9: Berkeley Haas

With the new 10-in-10 series, we look to host ten (10) -- 30-minute live sessions (once per week) to discuss the application process for the top-10 MBA programs. The 9th episode of our 10-in-10 series will focus on the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business MBA application. Haas approaches business training from a leadership development lens, teaching its students how to lead with values and direct teams and organizations toward a unified vision. With that in mind, applicants need a nuanced approach to the application not only in what they have accomplished but also to reflect on the leader they look to become. In this webinar, Susan will help you navigate the application and answer questions that will help you craft a compelling narrative considering what Haas looks for. The discussion can cover different elements of the application, including the essays: Essay 1: What makes you feel alive when you are doing it, and why? (300 words maximum) Essay 2: What kind of leader do you aspire to be, and why? (300 words max) Other: Optional essay, supplemental information, and any other short-answer question that is a part of the application portal document.
