Emergency Medicine Myth Busting with Dr. Mark Lopez
Not everything done in the emergency department is based on strong evidence. In this lecture, numerous myths are busted. You can treat abdominal pain with pain medicine, use lidocaine with epinephrine in fingers, wash lacerations out with tap water, and send tetracaine home with patients with corneal abrasions. This lecture was given by Mark Lopez at the 2018 rural emergency medicine conference.
