This is a vlog from Maru and Yuko, a married couple traveling the world in a light camper van. Maru embarks on a solo driving journey covering approximately 3,700 km from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan, Russia, and Georgia. Though he manages to enter Russia safely, the Ukraine war causes his car navigation system to stop working, leaving him lost track of where he is. In areas of Russia that were once home to terrorist attacks, he is stopped repeatedly and subjected to vehicle inspections at checkpoints that would be unthinkable in Japan. After a day of relaxation at a resort along the Caspian Sea, his final journey out of Russia involves a 16-hour overnight border crossing. This time, we'll cover the second half of his 3,700 km solo journey, covering the 1,100 km from Astrakhan, Russia, to Tbilisi, Georgia.
