This POTA Antenna Array Feels Like Cheating (But It’s Not) - Performance Z POTA Array

In this video, I finally put the Performance Z POTA phased array to work in the field and yes… it actually does what it’s supposed to do. This is part two of my look at John Gendron's (NJ4Z) Performance Z array kit. After assembling it completely backwards in the first video (thanks for keeping me honest), we correct the build, deploy the array for 20 meters, and test real-world performance with live signals. We cover: Proper assembly and isolation of the radiating elements Ground spikes, radials, and mast spacing for correct phasing Field deployment tips so you don’t hate yourself later Live A/B testing showing noise reduction and signal directionality Switching between east, west, and broadside patterns in real time Watching stations rise and disappear just by flipping a switch is honestly wild. Noise drops, signals peak, and suddenly you feel like you’re bending RF to your will. This setup is portable, runs on 12V, uses common cables, and packs away cleanly for POTA or field use.
