The Legion of Honor (Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco) - Top 40 19th Century Paintings

Today, we are beginning our series on the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco by taking a look at the top 40 19th century paintings from the permanent collection of the Legion of Honor. The collection holds a vast array of works from famous painters such as Manet, Caillebotte, Monet, and so many more! Unfortunately when I went go to visit a few weeks ago, the collection’s famous trio of paintings by Claude Monet were just shipped off for an exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum.
