In this video I talk about how the narcissist didn’t love you but they fed off you. I talk about the experience of being in a relationship with a narcissist and how it often doesn’t feel like a genuine connection, but more like emotional exploitation and psychological control. It can feel like you are not in a mutual relationship at all, but instead being used for your attention, empathy, reactions, and emotional energy. What may look on the surface like love or care can actually be a cycle of control, confusion, gaslighting, and emotional dependency. I explore the idea that narcissistic abuse often works through a “banquet for one” dynamic where one person benefits while the other slowly loses themselves. You may feel drained, confused, devalued, and constantly pulled into trying to fix, prove, or earn love that never becomes stable or real.
