Maronite Hermit ناسك ماروني

الترجمة العربية في الاسفل This is an AFP report on father Dario Escobar, a Maronite Hermit, who is living now in the Qadisha Valley (meaning Holy Valley). Father Escobar came from Columbia through the USA to Lebanon. He spent many years in the monastery of Saint Cyprians and Justin in Kfifan, Batroun, North Lebanon where he learned the Maronite rite, liturgy and faith. He also learned Aramaic and Arabic. Having seen him personally, I knew he will be a Hermit. He is now living in the Hermitage of Our Lady of Hawka. The Maronite Church is a Monastic church with hermitage roots. It was said that in the old days when someone walked by the Holy Valley, he would only smell incense, from the hermits glorifying the Lord in it. God have mercy on Father Antonios Chayna, the other Hermit who died in early 2009 and grant us Holy Priests, Amen هذا التقرير بثته وكالة الصحافة الفرنسية عن الحبيس "داريو ايسكوبار" الذي استحبس في الوادي المقدس (قاديشا) شمال لبنان. الاب اسكوبار هو كولومبي وصل الى لبنان بعد أن اعجب بالكنيسة المارونية في الولايات المتحدة. وقد تتلمذ في دير مار قبريانوس ويوستينا المعروف بدير كفيفان، البترون، شمال لبنان، حيث ضريح القديس نعمة الله الحرديني. هناك تعلّم الطقس الماروني بالاضافة الى اللغتين السريانية والعربية والليتورجية المارونية. لقد رأيته مراراً في الدير وايقنت أنه سينتهي الى المحبسة. الكنيسة المارونية هي كنيسة نسكية في الاساس. وقد قيل أنه في القرون القديمة، أثناء اضطهاد الموارنة، كانت رائحة البخور تعبق من الوادي حيث النساك كانوا يمجدون الله. "يا رب ارحم الحبيس ألأب أنطونيوس شينا الذي توفي مطلع العام 2009 وأعطنا يا رب كهنة قديسين" آمين.
